History

Apple Watch is Apple's line of smartwatches. Tim Cook introduced it in September 2014 and it went on sale on 24 April 2015. The official comparison covers every generation from Series 1, which was only splash resistant, to Series 12, Ultra 4 and SE 3. The Ultra family, 49 mm and in titanium, arrived in 2022 for outdoor sports, with 100 metres of water resistance and recreational diving to 40 metres with a third-party app.
