History
Chris Ward, Mike France and Peter Ellis came up with the brand in 2004, during a conversation on a boat on the Thames, and launched it as an online-only label. The watches are designed in Maidenhead and assembled in a workshop in Biel, Switzerland. Mike France is the CEO, and Chris Ward left the company in January 2020. It sells directly to customers, without retailers.
