Montblanc

History

Montblanc was born in Berlin in 1906 and moved to Hamburg the following year, where it made its Meisterstück fountain pens famous from 1924. It joined Richemont in 1993 and entered watchmaking in 1996, with Montblanc Montre in Le Locle from 1997. Richemont bought Minerva in 2006, and since then that house has given the brand Villeret high watchmaking.
