Oris

Machine translation pending human review. Figures and sources match the original.

Paul Cattin and Georges Christian founded Oris in Hölstein in 1904, in a closed-down former watch factory. In 1938 it presented the Big Crown, a pilot's watch that still names one of its lines. After joining ASUAG in 1970, it regained independence through a management buyout in 1982. In 2014 it returned to in-house calibres with Calibre 110 for its 110th anniversary, and Calibre 400 followed in 2020.
