History

Raymond Weil and Simone Bédat founded the company in Geneva in 1976, in the middle of the quartz crisis. Bédat and her son left in 1996 to create Bedat & Co. The brand remains family-run and independent: Elie Bernheim, the founder's grandson, has led it since 2014. Its link with music shows in the names of collections such as Maestro, Tango and Toccata.
